Class 10 is one of the two Year 4 classes and is part of Key Stage Two.
Mrs Martin (Monday - Tuesday) and Mrs Russell (Wednesday - Friday) are the class teachers and Mrs Bourn is the cover supervisor. That means whenever Mrs Martin and Mrs Russell are out of the class for any reason, Mrs Bourn usually takes over.
The school day starts at 8:45am. Please arrive promptly because class doors are locked at 8:50am.
The school day finishes at 3:15pm. Please let us know if you have arranged for someone different to collect your child. Written permission is needed if your child is to return home independently.
Our regular weekly events are:
- PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays (please ensure your child wears their PE kit to come to school).
- Star of the Week
We ask you to read at home regularly with your child (please aim to do that every day).
We also ask you to practise all of the times tables with your child. (There will be a weekly timetable focus.) We will be looking for quick recall times and will post internet links to games/learning via our ClassDojo page to help everyone.
Children will earn ClassDojo points and House Points through the year for doing well and some of those are converted into high street shopping vouchers for them at the end of the school year.
We aim to communicate with you regularly via the ClassDojo phone app. (Please download that and use your unique code - given by the teacher- to link to your child’s class.)
We love hearing about what our class gets up to out of school and welcome news from home so we can share and celebrate interests and successes.
In Class 10, we work hard and have fun!
